WEEK 2 - LECTURE (01/09/24)

 

1. Basic Composition

Focal Point: Any good composition starts with a strong focal point that naturally attracts viewers' eyes convey the important information.

Scale and hierarchy: Drawing attention toward and away from certain elements.

Balance The Elements: Each element have a weight, balanced it with big, medium and small.

White Space: This empty space is to balance the main focus of the composition also highlight the focal point.

2. The Rule of Third 

Divinding image using 2 horizontal and 2 vertical lines. Put the elemente in this intersection points and image will be much more natural. Create conversation between subject and background.

3. Golden Ration

This is a mathematical ratio or guidline that can help foster natural looking composition that pleases the eyes. Lastly , focus on composition and framing.

We are told to make 3 designs of collage based with good composition.  

 These are the 3 composition that I have made for later to be check by Mr, Fauzi.
