Graduate Showcase Mural Drawing Competition

Felice Jolin / 0373636 Creative Media / School of Design Group 6: Felice Gaby, Jennifer, Katherine, Celine, Cindy   The tagline for this competition is 'Unity Through Diversity'. This is such a simple yet crucial theme. Human as social people are dependent to each other and this taught us how to fit in among people and unite through diversity and how diversity could bring us to one. We came up with an idea of drawing a person face however with combination of races, background, religion, and tradition.  So we decided to draw a man face in the middle with different style of hair and different colour of skin. In addition of different races, we draw in traditions like 'Barongsai' and celebration 'Chinese New Year', 'Bunga Raya' as Malaysian flower, 'Batik' as Indonesian culture and more. We would like to reflect respect, tolerance and love in our drawing. Through diversity we learn new things, get new experiences and unite all along.          ...
